Entrepreneur Initiative

Initiative is an individual's action that begins a process, often done without direct managerial influence. For example, an employee might take the initiative to come up with a new product or service that the company could offer. Power of initiative is one of the most important entrepreneurial competence because with this feature he will have a tendency to look at and analyze a situation or circumstance efficiently. Without waiting for the result of attitude directed or coerced into doing something for its own success, the individual who initiated it can see things that need to be done through intuition and imagination. This attitude will lead the entrepreneur step ahead of the others.

One of an entrepreneur initiative is Coco Chanel. For example Up until the First World War, women’s clothing had been quite restrictive and tended to involve full length skirts which were impractical for many activities. Coco Chanel helped create women’s clothing that was simpler and more practical. She also introduced trousers and suits for women is something which had not been done before. She was the first person to see style as both, classic and casual. Chanel created timeless classics and set a high benchmark for the fashion designers to come. She was instrumental in breaking the stereotype and liberating woman from the stifling ‘corseted silhouette’ and making the sporty casual chic look not only acceptable but also trendy and very fashionable. Her extraordinary fashion sense was not just limited to couture clothing but also reflected in fragrance, handbags and jewelry. With this she has changed the way women become more modern usage and according to the current date. Clothing are basic necessities, as well as other objects even if it's just a whim but with the reforms in terms of style and size, many will surely be a hit with both.
