Decisive



A decisive person shows the ability to make decisions quickly but affectively. An entrepreneur needs to be decisive to be a good a leader. Uncertainly in any organizations is killer. When an Entrepreneur takes too long to make a decision either due to lack of knowledge or fear of making the wrong one, it creates a period of anxiety in the employees. It is often better to learn to say “yes” or “no” more than “maybe”. Your employees will respect you for making quick decision even though you might be wrong sometimes. Procrastination is not an admirable virtue for great leaders. Being decisive does not mean being impulsive or basing decisions on your guilt feel. You need to consider all pertinent facts in arriving at the decision, but don’t over analyze and delay. Entrepreneurs need to lead by example being decisive themselves will the same level of rapid response in the rest of the organization.
One of an entrepreneur decisive is James Trevor Oliver. For examples, when he got received calls from different production companies who wanted to work with him. It was not late when he became a celebrity chef and revolutionized television cookery shows with his program “The Naked Chef”. Jamie is a down to earth person and this is the reason he has been able to win legions of fans. He has fans all over the world. Jamie is a chef who likes to take risks. Lately, he make a decision to has set up Fifteen Foundation which is a charity organization responsible for training unemployed young people to become professional chefs. He has put in millions of pounds to make this a success. A book as well as a TV series followed and these were huge successes too. He has also been successful in convincing children to give up fast food which is not good for health. He has taken on the government and improved school meals to include healthy foods instead of processed meals. His mission was a success and steps were taken to improve the variety and quality of food offered in school.
